JIET, Jodhpur
Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET) is devoted to promoting technical and scientific literacy amongst young and inquisitive minds with contemporary temperament right from its inception in 2003. JIET is the first engineering institution in Western Rajasthan to have an autonomous status in five professional courses (Engineering, Management, Design, Computer Application and Applied Arts & Crafts).
Also, the institute has earned UGC recognition under Section 2(f). At present, the institute runs ten UG programs and six PG programs. JIET is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner.

Jodhpur formerly known as Marwar founded by Rao Jodha in 1459, is a district in the Indian state of Rajasthan (Also known as Sun-city and Blue City). It is the second-largest metropolitan city in the state.
